The vast majority of my Facebook friends will ignore my invitations to improv shows. I can understand why they do it. I’m guilty of ignoring invitations to events too. I sometimes get invitations to events in California from my friends who live there. They probably invite all their friends, regardless of where we live.
I created a Facebook event for my interview with Dr. Bill Bass, which airs Sunday at 5:00 p.m. on East Tennessee PBS. For location, I put “Your TV and/or DVR.” The response has been better than I expected. As of Saturday night, 87 people accepted, 7 replied “maybe,” and 15 declined. I wonder if those who said “no” are telling me that they don’t have a DVR or that they don’t have any interest in the topic of forensics.
