The organizers of the Big BBQ Bash put my wife to work as a volunteer while I was judging the chicken, ribs, pork and brisket. She got to sample a few leftovers on the “grazing table.” I think the experience whet her appetite for BBQ.
We had a nice visit with our son recently. As mothers love to do, my wife bought some special treats at the supermarket.
In addition to the chicken breasts and turkey burgers that I normally eat, my wife bought a slab of ribs. My wife and son smoked the ribs to perfection on a basic Weber grill. I know I’m biased but I do think their ribs could have earned high scores in a competition.
