Terrence G. will be the headliner for the Classic Hits 93.1 WNOX 1st Birthday Party at Side Splitters Comedy Club on Sunday night. Local comic John Upton and improv troupe Einstein Simplified will perform too. I will be the emcee for the night. My friends at Sam’s Club are bringing a big cake.
Terrence stopped by for an interview on Friday. I asked him about his performances in churches. I had read that the best way to make money in stand-up is to work clean so that you can be booked for “the three C” gigs: colleges, corporate gigs and cruise ships. The fourth C could be churches.
