The aroma wafting from the open door grabbed my son’s attention. He was going to one of the other shops in the strip mall when he changed his plans and went into Sardi’s Pollo A La Brasa instead.
When he told me about the delicious Peruvian chicken, we made plans to go there the next time I was in town. During my brief weekend visit, we bought dinner at Sardi’s on Holy Saturday. We went to a different Sardi’s location to pick up lunch for our group on Easter Sunday.
Both times my son ordered fried yuca as a side item. We also tried fried plantain and beans & rice. They give you three dipping sauces, which are great, but be sure to taste the food without the sauce too.
