King’s Things

During the Gatlinburg Improv Fest, I had the opportunity to play a comedic king. During the Oak Ridge Civic Ballet Association’s production of Sleeping Beauty on April 5, I will have the opportunity to play a more serious king.

The kind people of ORCBA have invited me back for the sixth time in two-and-a-half years. I’ve been in three productions of The Nutcracker, I was the narrator for The Ugly Duckling and I played one of Cinderella‘s ugly stepsisters. Today was my first rehearsal for my part as Princess Aurora’s father. After we ran the scenes with each of the two ballerinas sharing the title role, I tried on some regal attire.
