Two Can Play That Game

The hosts of TODAY reacted in amazement to a clever film clip this morning. My wife rewound the DVR to show me the segment. She said, “Watch this, it’s just like one of your improv games.”

The actors from the comedy group POYKPAC used only movie titles as their dialogue in the scene. In improv, that is called a “restriction game” or a “limitation game.” Other examples of restriction games include “Questions Only” and “ABC.”

For many years, Einstein Simplified has done a variation of the game, using both “Song & Movie Titles.” It’s a difficult game to play, which is why we call it “S&M” for short.

Maybe you guys should sue them. You might get a couple bucks. Hopefully you didn’t steal it from somebody else.
