In the old days, if you got your name in the paper for sipping moonshine, it would have been in the police blotter column. I got my name in the paper for sipping moonshine but it was in the society column.
On January 13, I attended a launch party for American Born Moonshine. This past Sunday, I was flipping through the paper while enjoying some snacks after donating blood. I noticed that Megan Venable has replaced Gay Lyons as the Peoples & Parties columnist and that her lead story was about the moonshine party. Her description of the tasty food on the menu has me wanting to eat it again sometime soon.
