The Knoxville Choral Society performed at the Bijou Theatre for the first time in many years on Saturday night. Their Fall Concert consisted of the Magnificat by Bach and selections from the Messiah by Handel. They will repeat the concert on Sunday at Tellico Village Community Church.
My wife is a member of the KCS. To support the group, we bought a pair of tickets. Since my wife had a seat on stage, I had an extra ticket. I posted a note on Facebook on Saturday morning but it was too late to get any takers:
Hey music lovers, my wife sings with the Knoxville Choral Society. I’m going to their concert tonight and I have one extra ticket. Do you want to go with me for free? It’s rare that I can say, “I’m buying.” Don’t miss your chance to have me pay your way for something.
