Patty, the lady working the baked-goods booth at the All Saints Church Harvest of Blessings, saw me snapping pictures of cupcakes and offered to help. She removed a turkey cupcake from its plastic bag so I could get a better shot. The turkey on the cupcake was made from a Nutter Butter cookie, decorated with googly eyes and a candy wattle.
Other cupcakes of note were the ones decorated to look like a cup of hot cocoa and the ones with mini-Oreos and Hershey’s Kisses stuck together to resemble acorns. The idea of cupcakes in a jar seemed clever and less messy to eat than a traditional cupcake.
