My obsession with figs is apparent on my blog. Sometimes it crosses over to my Facebook and Twitter feeds too.
On Tuesday, I tagged five local Facebook friends who have fig trees. One is a State Representative, one is a lawyer and one is a Catholic blogger. The other two are the couple who first introduced me to figs a year ago. He’s a film director and she’s appeared in several of his productions.
In the message, I wrote: Instead of pathetically begging [them] for fresh figs, I want to offer something in trade. But here’s the thing… what even comes close to the awesomeness of figs? Would they settle for chocolate chip cookies?”
My friend Krisha took to the Twitter to “help describe your ‘fig trade’ program.” As you can see, her diagram is most instructive.
