General Cooker

The idea of eating raw fish scares off a lot of people. I remember being afraid to try it when I first moved to California. Fortunately my Rodney convinced me to meet up with a group of his friends who were going out for sushi at a place along the Sunset Strip. I’ve been enjoying sushi ever since.

My wife and I often buy freshly-made sushi rolls in the supermarket. My favorite is the rainbow roll, which is a California roll topped with sashimi slices of different colors. Here in Knoxville, there must still be a large number of people who are dissuaded by the idea of raw fish. I recently noticed a new sign that says, “Most of our sushi is fully cooked.”
