Catching Fish

My son treated me to lunch over the weekend. We spotted a sushi place in the middle of a shopping mall and made a spur-of-the-moment decision to eat there. The restaurant inside Tysons Galleria is called Wasabi. As far as I can tell, it has no connection to the Knoxville restaurant called Wasabi.

The various entrees and appetizers travel on a hidden conveyor belt past the booths and sushi bar. The color of each plate tells you the price of the item, which ranged from $2.50 to $5.00. We bought four rolls to share: a rainbow roll; a spicy tuna roll; a California volcano roll; and a blue-crab roll which was sprinkled with Old Bay Seasoning.
