“The Dark Knight Rises” comes out on Friday. A new Batman movie means there is plenty to read and to watch to get in the mood. The new Entertainment Weekly has great interviews about the film with Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan. On Monday night, The CW network will air a half-hour special about the Batmobile.
While I love the most recent incarnation of Batman, I’ll always have a special place in my heart for the 1960s TV version. I set my DVR to record two episodes of it this morning on The Hub TV Network. I rooted for a replica of the ’66 car to beat a replica of the ’89 car in a recent drag race. My family and I got to see the original Batmobile when we lived in California. I even submitted a photo of myself and the car to a web page called “Your Brush with the Batmobile.”
