The funeral home that handled the arrangements for my brother-in-law gave us an interesting item. They placed the Mass cards, guest book and memorial DVD in a reusable grocery bag with their logo on it. That same day, my sister gave me some extra bananas in a Mix 107.3 grocery bag. The fruit, which was left over from a Girls on the Run event, provided a much-needed energy boost during the procession from the church to the cemetery.
None of the family members accepted my dare. I playfully suggested that they go to a local supermarket that sells bulk foods. I thought it would be funny if they put a sack of flour or other grayish-white grain into the Money & King bag.
