Sheetz and Grins

When traveling outside the realm of Weigel’s and Pilot, my wife and I have to choose a different convenience store. Sometimes we go to 7-Eleven for old time’s sake but lately we find that we prefer Wawa, QuikTrip and Sheetz.

During our drive through Virginia on Monday, we stopped at both a Wawa and a Sheetz. I learned today that Wawa is a Native American word for Canada Goose. Sheetz is the last name of company founder Bob Sheetz.

"Pom Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold" cutout at Sheetz "Pom Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold" cups at Sheetz While we were at Sheetz, I bought a smaller soda than normal in order to get a Morgan Spurlock collector cup. The disappointing fact that they didn’t offer Coke Zero also made it easier to settle for a smaller cup. Of the three available, I chose the one that says “Sheetz Happens.” The store is a sponsor of “Pom Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold.” I’ve read a few reviews that make me want to see the film but I can probably wait until it shows up on one of the pay cable networks.
