Knoxville and food will be featured on two very different telecasts within 27 hours. Last night, NBC Nightly News reported on The Love Kitchen, a great organization that ministers to the 5 Hs: the hungry, the homeless, the helpless, the hopeless and the homebound.
At the other end of the spectrum, Adam Richman came to Knoxville to film tonight’s episode of “Man v. Food.” He attempts to tackle the Gigante Burrito at Sweet P’s BBQ and a huge cut of beef at Ye Olde Steakhouse. According to an online slideshow, he also visits Dixson’s Bar-B-Q.
I have set my DVR for “Man v. Food” because I will be watching “Survivor” on the big screen at the Wild Wing Café tonight. Current contestant Chase Rice will be there to play music after the show. Plus, you could win a trip aboard the Bud Light Port Paradise III cruise to the Caribbean if you get there by 7:45 p.m.
